Growing up in an environment that made me feel like I was 'too much' yet somehow never enough, hiding my artistic spark wasn't a choice - it was survival. I was taught to quiet my instincts, put away the creative world I loved, and conform to expectations that were never built for me.
Reconnecting with this craft was the moment I finally reclaimed what was taken. Through beads and color, I began exploring my inner world without asking for permission or waiting for approval (although I'm still learning!). I allowed myself to bring back the parts of who I am that I had to suppressed: vibrant, bold, expressive, and unapologetic.
That is why beads are so much more to me than materials - they are a quiet sanctuary and a gentle pause in a fast, overwhelming world. They are the rhythm I return to, no matter where life finds me. Tired? Beads. Afraid? Beads. Bursting with creative energy? Beads, always. Sitting down with these tiny elements grounds me, turning inner noise into stillness and everyday chaos into pure, tangible joy.
What begins as a slow, deliberate studio ritual eventually becomes a colourful universe of joy meant to be worn with pride. Every single piece is hand-assembled with patience and deep intention. Hours are spent pairing shades, testing contrasts, and chasing the exact harmony of light until a palette finally clicks into place.
